Today we have Sandalia21 on the channel who is a graveyard boss giving us his best tips on using this deck! The single most important thing you need when using graveyard is patience, you must wait until the time is right before playing the graveyard. According to today’s guest there are two ways of playing the graveyard, you can play for chip damage, which means you will play cheap offence by using the ice golem and the graveyard. For example against fast cycle decks you should use this method. The other way to play is to build up a monster push through defending and then counter pushing. This method is best used against heavier decks such as golem beat down. You should apply same lane pressure in every matchup besides lava hound where you’ll immediately apply opposite lane pressure as soon as they play their hound!
Graveyard is your main win condition. The best placement for the card can be seen in today’s replays, however if they have Valkyrie play it one tile closer to the centre to allow the build up of skeletons. This card is unfortunately hard countered by poison, if the opponent has the poison then you have to wait for the right time but keep applying that pressure throughout the match.
Canon cart is massively under rated in this meta. It has long range which allows you to use it to snipe the opponents units. Try to use this card to counter push with if you get the opportunity. If it locks onto the opponents tower it’ll get a tonne of damage so have snowball ready to to protect it from units like bats or skeletons.
Ice golem is probably the best mini tank for graveyard there is because it’s so cheap. It can’t also be used to kite unit as like pekka or prince into the opposite lane. It can be paired with snowball to take out swarm units like the minion horde. You can also use this card to trick your opponent into thinking your applying opposite lane pressure.
Early game your going to be trying to work out what deck your opponent is playing. Always play passively and react to what your opponent does. Try to build an elixir advantage and decide whether you need to play for chip (if the opponent has a quick cycle deck) or save up for an all in push. (If the opponent has a heavy beat down deck. If you feel you have an elixir advantage then apply some light pressure with the ice golem graveyard combo.
Double elixir is the time you can start to save up for an all in push against those heavier decks. Try to use your spells to help support your other units. If their towers have around 800-1000 HP you can spell cycle while playing very defensively. One other you can do with this deck is split lane push which makes it harder for your opponent to fuller defend.
